Any solutions or suggestions? I know I could use Adium instead but I don't want to give up certain feature like screensharing, videochat or iChat theatre. I have Chax installed to remove the html code that is sent to people with every message that don't use iChat. Most of the time, you are stuck with it, you need to change or reset your password to enter your account for other reasons. I know iChat doesn't support ICQ natively, but if you choose AIM you can enter your ICQ login and password and it worked fine for several years. I changed my password for my ICQ account but that didn't help to get iChat working again either. Topic: WTS: ICQ Nice ICQ numbers for sale (Read 15758 times) gerbert3 (OP) Newbie Offline Activity: 15 Merit: 0. Palringo and ICQ apps for iPhone and beejive for iPad still work without a change. But when I change the server in iChat it still asks for my password. A suggested solution for adium was to change the login server from the default settings to the new and it worked after a restart (no change of default Port 5190). The same problem also happened with adium. I did a little google research and as it shows, ICQ changed the login servers. Since today, everytime I want to login into my ICQ account via iChat it asks for my password but when I enter it, it keeps asking again.
